The traveler on the right was annoyed with me and Dave when we told her we didn't bicycle back home and never swam in the ocean before. We were doing quite well at both. The sea had considerable undertow and surf so not many people dared to venture out. The Backroads' guides bought a shark from a local fisherman and cured it in lime juice. They also made a fresh batch of salsa. Good stuff.
