Florence, Italy
Monday was a national holiday so I didn't have to visit the company in Bazzano until Tuesday. (Funny how it worked out that way:)) Therefore, I decided to drive south to Florence which is the dirtiest city I've ever been to. The food at the bistros around the main square was terrible. People parked on sidewalks when no street parking was available and I did the same.
I visited all the main attractions in half a day and then drove through Tuscany on the way back. Very scenic.That evening I ate at the hotel restaurant and was very disappointed in the meal because the portions were so small, and it was served on a really big plate (like 18 inches in diameter).
