Participants in the Banff to Jasper Backroads Bicycle Trip gathered at the appointed time in the Banff bus station parking lot.
The trip was six days including four nights of camping and one night at a hotel. The group included 12 women and 12 men from nearly as many places in the USA and Canada. We were paired up two per tent (same gender). Backroads provided the bicycles, hauled our gear from campsite to campsite, fed us three square meals a day (delicious!) and provided food, drink and all-around support while we were out biking, hiking, rafting etc.
