On Saturday morning I took a train from Ulm to Frankfurt. I rented a car there and drove to Amsterdam where I would stay until Tuesday Morning. Amsterdam is my favorite place to visit in Europe and I went back another seven times. I'll have to be discreet and not mention all the things I did there. I will say that I did visit the Van Gogh museum and Anne Frank's attic. Van Gogh became my favorite painter after that trip. The oils were highly textured almost to the point of being a relief. Its not something you can observe in prints.
